A bigwig director from CNBC, a lower Hudson Valley resident, faces charges after a teenage nanny allegedly found a secret video camera in a private bathroom on his property.

LoHud reports Pleasantville resident Daniel Switzen, known for his work with The Suze Orman Show and Power Lunch, stands accused of installing the camera in an area where a person has an expectation of privacy. He's been charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance and could spend up to four years in prison if convicted.

The unnamed nanny only discovered the camera when entertaining guests. The incident in question took place on Nov. 13, but Switzen just appeared in court Tuesday. It is unknown at this time how long the hidden camera was in place.

A lawyer for Switzen states that he's a family man and the charges have taken a toll. He'll have a chance to state his case at his next court date on March 13.
