A Hudson Valley man is accused of drinking in his car and pleasuring himself in the parking lot of a local business.

On Tuesday, the Ulster Police Department received a complaint from a female who said she saw a man parked next to her at a local business masturbating in his car. The woman provided police with a description for the man and car.

The next morning, while investigating the scene, a police officer noticed a man and a car that fit the description at the same local business parking lot. Police didn't reveal the name or location of the business.

Liam G. Fitzgerald, 34, of Stone Ridge was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with public lewdness, stalking and aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors, harassment, unlawful possession of marijuana, violations, and traffic infractions for consumption of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and unlicensed operation.

He was arraigned in Town of Saugerties Court and released to appear in the Town of Ulster Court on a later date to answer the charges.

An order of protection was issued on behalf of the woman.
