A man was charged with murder about one week after police found the body of a Hudson Valley man who was missing for over a year.

On Thursday, New York State Police arrested Carlos Graham, 31, of Catskill, for murder, a felony, as a result of the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of 31-year-old Brandyn Foster.

Foster who's originally from Ulster County was first reported missing to police at the end of January of 2017. Last week, he was found buried on the property at his home on Tool House Road in the Town of Catskill.

His death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy, police say.

Graham was found at his home and taken into custody without incident with the assistance of the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. Police didn't release how their investigation led to a murder charge.

Graham was arraigned in the town of Cairo Court and was committed to the Greene County Jail without bail.

Foster was reported missing in January 2017, under suspicious circumstances to police in Ulster County, reports the Times Union.

According to CBS 6, officials searched for Foster at his Tool House Road home in October 2017.

The year-long, multi-agency investigation was conducted by State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, town of Woodstock Police, the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office, the Greene County District Attorney’s Office and the Ulster County Sheriff's Office.
