A 72-year-old Hudson Valley man will serve jail time after he was sentenced for sexual abuse, rape, and oral sexual conduct of 3 children, all younger than 13, during a 6 year period.

According to the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, Calman Greenburg, of Buchanan sexually assaulted three Hudson Valley children, who were all younger than 13, between June 1, 2004 and February 1, 2010. During the time period Greenburg admitted to multiple acts of sexual abuse, rape, and sexual conduct.

Greenburg was arrested in July of 2015 after an intensive investigation conducted by the New York State Police and the Special Prosecutions Division of the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.

Wednesday in Westchester County Court, Greenburg was sentenced to 12 years in state prison.

In May, he plead guilty to 2 counts of 1st-degree course of sexual conduct and 1 count of 2nd-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, all felonies.

Along with his prison sentence, Greenburg must register as a sex offender. He may also be subject to civil confinement after he has served his sentence.
