A Hudson Valley man who was set to testify against a cop in a drug case was found murdered, “Don Corleone” style.

Robert Bishun, 36, of Rockland County was abducted from his auto body shop and found strangled to death in the back of his BMW in the Bronx late Tuesday, the New York Daily News reports.

Bishun was expected to testify at NYPD Officer Merlin Alston’s trial within the next two weeks. The 34-year-old is facing drug conspiracy charges for allegedly being a shotgun holding bodyguard for Bishun over a four-year-period.

In Southern District of New York Court, it was alleged that Alston ordered Bishun’s murder. Federal Judge Colleen McMahon said the murder was done “Don Corleone” style.

“It certainly sounds like a contract killing,” McMahon said according to  the Daily News, adding the killing resembled “movie violence.”

Alston’s attorney says prosecutors have no evidence linking the death to the suspended NYPD officer. Alston’s bail was revoked.
