Hudson Valley Native Cast in Freddie Mercury Biopic

An actor born and raised in Dutchess County has been cast in the Freddie Mercury biopic. 

The upcoming Freddie Mercury biopic has cast the remaining members, which includes Hudson Valley native Joe Mazello.

Mazello was born in Rhinebeck, NY, and lived in Hyde Park, NY. He has been in movies such as 'Jurassic Park' and 'The Social Network' among others.

Mazello will be portraying Queen bass guitarist John Deacon.

The biopic will be titled 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is set to be released December, 25, 2018.

The film will be directed by 'The Usual Suspects' and 'X-Men' director Bryan Singer.

Rami Malek (Mr. Robot) will be playing Freddie Mercury, Gwilym Lee (The Tourist) will be playing Brain May while Ben Hardy will be playing drummer Roger Taylor.
