According to News 12, a Marlboro Middle School teacher allegedly attacked and injured a young student in a crowded hallway in the school earlier this month.

The incident involved a 12-year-old boy and a seventh grade science teacher.

The boy's mother told News 12 the teacher attacked and cursed at her son after her son tried to kill a spider in the hallway at the middle school. She also said that after the alleged attack, her son now has two slipped disks in his neck.

Marlboro police have been notified of the incident and according to the boy's mother, the alleged attack was all caught on school surveillance video.

The district also said that the teacher involved has been reassigned and is not teaching children until the investigation is complete.
