Unless you've been under a rock, you know they are calling for some signification snow to fall Thursday.

Forecasters are still calling for 6 to 12 inches of snow and, depending on the axis of the storm, we could see even a bit more. A fast mover, but it will be packing a big punch with a ton of snow. Snow rates of one or two inches per hour are possible.

The morning commute looks like it will be a mess and the snow will last into the middle of the day, which has prompted school districts to throw in the towel and cancel school for tomorrow.  New York City schools have all closed for Thursday as well.

Locally, these are some of the districts that have already closed for Thursday.
