A baseball signed by perhaps the most legendary player in the game is being auctioned off by a local boy scout troop.

Babe Ruth aka The Sultan of Swat aka The King of Crash aka The Colossus of Clout aka The Great Bambino (Thanks, The Sandlot) is one of the undisputed greats of baseball. And way, way back in the day, he signed a baseball inscribed to Troop 6 Larchmont Boy Scouts. Now, that ball is up for sale, and if you want it, it's going to cost you.

The ball is expected to go for somewhere around $15,000. The proceeds will be shared by the ball's owner Jack Coughlin, a former scoutmaster for the troop, and the Westchester-Putnam Council. If you'd like to bid on this incredible piece of baseball memorabilia, you can do that right here. The auction is open until November 18th.
