A Hudson Valley ski resort has been named among the top 10 most challenging in the nation, but not for the reason you'd expect.

Jackson Hole, WY, Telluride, CO, and Squaw Valley, CA accompany Hunter Mountain on a list of most challenging by UnofficialNetworks. But Hunter Mountain's challenge isn't terrain based apparently.

If you have ever skied Hunter you know that the challenge doesn’t come from the terrain, but rather avoiding the out of control blue jean clad Long Islanders fueled up on Busch beer and jagerbombs.

The blog writer clearly has had a bad experience with these alleged "blue jean clad Long Islanders," but Hunter is a great place for not only skiing and snowboarding but snow tubing as well. They were actually the first mountain in the world to have snow making capability from top to bottom. You can check out events all year round including Mountain Jam every June.

Remember that time Johnny Drama mentions Hunter Mountain on Entourage? (NSFW)
