Hudson Valley Town Needs Your Votes

You can help a Hudson Valley Town be named 'Best Town Ever' simply by casting a vote.

Outside Magazine is holding their sixth annual Best Town Ever contest and the city of Beacon is in the running. There are a total of 64 towns/cities that are competing for the prestigious title. The magazines says it's nominees were complied based on towns with access to nature, nice neighborhoods, fine culinary and of course a great beer scene doesn't hurt. The magazine also took to social media for suggestions, the end result, 64 very different, fun and unique contestants all vying for your votes but really there's only one you should be routing for.

This years voting style is a little different as all the towns/cities have been broken up into categories like culture, river, mountain and more. The towns will battle it out bracket style until one winner remains. The first round of voting started this week so be sure to vote now. Beacon is under the "Culture" category. You can vote once per round match-up. Winners will advance until only two remain and then the town will the most votes at the end of the contest (May 27th) wins.
