A Kingston traffic stop lead to the arrest of three adults Thursday after police found heroin along with a toddler in the car. The Daily Freeman reports the suspects were pulled over after the driver failed to use a turn signal.

Akeem Smith of Freeport Long Island along with Shaelynn Every and Angelo Romanelli of Kingston were all arrested after the stop. Authorities found about 20 grams of heroin in the vehicle. To make the situation worse an 18 month old child was also was also in the car. The three were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy which are all felonies.

Police initially became suspicious of Smith due to the discovery of numerous suspensions on his drivers license. He was additionally charged with several traffic infractions.

All three were sent to Ulster County Jail where Smith was being held without bail. Every and Romanelli were both being held on $10,000 bail.
