Seven local Hudson Valley car dealerships were selected to receive an award that showcases their customer service. Nationwide, 347 dealerships were selected out of a possible 2600 for the 2017 honor.  The award is called, 'Customer First Award for Excellence.' This is the second year that the award has been given out by the FCA 360 (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) group. The following are the local Hudson Valley dealerships that have been recognized as being at the top of their customer service game. Congratulations.

  • Port Jervis Auto Mall, Port Jervis
  • Young's Motors, Milton
  • Sawyer Motors, Saugerties
  • Ruge's Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Rhinebeck
  • Danbury Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, Danbury
  • White Plains Chrysler Jeep Dodge, White Plains

The awards were given out based on surveys that had been filled out and returned to the company. According to a press release, the awards are based on the following:

  • Facility Certification – Facility provides a clean, comfortable environment for customers

  • Performance Measures – Dealership has achieved highest levels of customer-oriented sales and service goals

  • Training Certification – Employees have received the highest level of required FCA-certified training

  • Employee Surveys – Completed to promote the voice of your employees and a customer-driven culture

  • Process Validation – Certified sales and service processes that support excellence in customer handling
