If you are a fan of buffets and chocolate fountains, the wait is over.

The first of a few Golden Corral restaurants in the Hudson Valley is set to open today on Route 211 in the Town of Wallkill, at the former Caldor Plaza. The restaurant will open at 11AM and stay open until 10:30PM.

According to the Times Herald Record, construction crews have been working seven days a week for about three months trying to complete a $3 million renovation to the location as they added about 9,000 square feet to the existing Party Zone location.

Eric Ring, who is one of the owners, told the Record that families will be able to get a special deal on food and playtime. Kids can eat for $5.99 and then they can play all day at Party Zone for $15.

Ring also said that they have been turning away a bunch of customers over the last few days, who thought the location was already open.

The new location will seat 290 people.
