Wal-Mart stores across the United States will be changing their name. Will you notice it? Will it affect your shopping experience? Probably not.

The change is mostly a legal one, which will first take place on paperwork then roll out to the physical stores. The change is from Wal-Mart Stores to simply Walmart. No hyphen and no word stores. Big deal? Legally it is.

According to the 'President and CEO Doug McMillon said the change will help the company shift to selling both on and offline. He said the change is consistent with the idea people can shop Walmart however they like as a customer.'

When will the changes start to be noticed? February or March of 2018.
