Getting Married? Hudson Valley Wedding Costs Soar
Are you getting ready to plan a wedding? Do you already have a budget in place? The Knot, which is a wedding planning and marketing website, released their latest survey results about total wedding costs in their 2015 Real Weddings Study.
To come up with their information, they surveyed more than 18,000 people who were married last year (2015) to find out where the money is being spent (and saved) for weddings.
The biggest surprises from the survey is that the average number of guests invited to a wedding are down, but the per guest spending is up. Where are the bride and groom increasing their spending? The reception, with signature cocktails, wine and liquor tastings (& stations, ie bourbon station) and even hand rolled cigars for their guests.
