Hyde Park Teen Charged With Rape

18-year-old Jorge G Martinez, of Hyde Park, was charged with 3rd-degree rape, a felony. According to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, in the early hours of February 23rd, Martinez allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim without their consent.

Police say Martinez and the victim know each other. Due to the sensitive nature of the incident no other information was provided.

Martinez was arraigned before the Town of Hyde Park Court and was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
