Here is a phrase that many people shake in their boots when they hear it, 'Ice Cream Recall.' What does that mean? The lovely frozen product that brings you so much joy might not be 'right?' In this case there is a possibility of cross contamination.

The affected product(s) are from Beyond Better Foods. They are recalling, just a single production run of their Enlightened brand, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip ice cream, because there is a chance that the ice cream ended up in the wrong packages.

For instance, there might be a bottom container that says Mint Chocolate Chip with a lid on the same container that says Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip. Is it a problem to the average consumer? If you have peanut allergies it is.

Affected products have a sell by date of November 18, 2017. If you have a package of the ice cream, return it to place of purchase for a refund or exchange.
