Apparently it's not people blowing themselves up that we have to worry about this week. Oh no...because this idiot wasn't playing with fireworks instead he was playing with his automobile. Hudson Valley News Network reports that on July 1st an 18 year old Kingston man along with his female passenger tried to (unsuccessfully) jump the Esopus creek in Marbletown in his Jeep Wrangler. According to the Ulster County Sheriffs Office  deputies responded to a 911 call received Wednesday evening reporting two people stranded in a vehicle in the creek, floating downstream. When police arrived the two occupants were clinging to the roof of the vehicle while the rest of the Jeep was fully submerged. Fortunately no one was injured in the idiotic attempt! Hope you impressed that chick cuz insurance ain't gonna cover that!
