You don't have to go all the way to the Big Apple to throw some romance into your love life. Now you can impress that special someone with a romantic carriage ride right here in the Hudson Valley.

The Olana State Historic Site just announced it has started offering sunset carriage rides on their gorgeous 250 acre estate nestled in the hilltops of Columbia County. The estate located in Hudson N.Y and once owned by renowned painter Frederic Edwin Church overlooks the Catskill Mountains and the Hudson River. What could be more romantic?

The carriage rides were added to an already lengthy list of activities at the site in honor of their 50th Anniversary. Open to small groups (six people max), individuals or couples you can enjoy these rides once a month on Friday evenings. The next sunset carriage ride is taking place Friday night. So if you're interested you better jump on the wagon...literally...while you can.
