In Touch is our weekly half-hour public affairs program that airs every Sunday morning at 5:30. Each week, we talk with a different organization from the Hudson Valley. If you are a member of a non-profit group or organization, I'd love to have you on the show, you can email me at beth.christy@townsquaremedia.com.

This week, we talked about The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie with Walter Joseph: Executive Director and Erin Cafarelli: Development Associate. Started in 1847, the Children's Home provides a range of services and programs giving hope and healing to abused and neglected children in the Hudson River Region.

Throughout their 167 year history, the underlying mission of the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie has remained the same: the home is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment that improves lives and empowers at-risk children and families in the Hudson Valley and surrounding communities.
