The ibuprofen was sold at Walmart, CVS and Family Dollar stores.

If you have children at home and have ever had to give them medicine for a fever, make sure you check the medicine cabinet when you get home.

The voluntary recall was announced by the company Tris Pharma Inc. and is being done because the recalled lots of the product have been found to potentially have higher concentrations of ibuprofen, which could be extremely dangerous for infants and children, according to WBIR.

The products are sold under the brand names CVS Health, Family Wellness and Equate.

The following codes are what you need to look for on your packaging, Walmart lot numbers include 00717009A (02/19 expiration), 00717015A (04/19 expiration) and 00717024A (08/19 expiration). CVS lot is 00717024A (08/19 expiration) and Family Dollar lot is 00717024A (08/19 expiration).

The company has said that they have not received any reports of illness from these products but if you do find that you have one of the recalled products at home you can contact Tris Customer Service at 732-940-0358 and if you have experienced any problems from taking this drug you should contact your doctor or healthcare provider.
