Apparently, Facebook wants to eliminate the "single" option on everyone's Facebook status.

If you're worried about your neighbors and co-workers seeing you looking for a potential date, don't worry. They won't unless they're looking as well. According to CNBC, the social media giant will offer an opt-in service that will allow members to search for relationships. It will target people near you who share your interests and who you are not friends with already.

Unlike current apps like Bumble and Tinder, the new feature hopes to deter the hook up mentality and help build solid relationships.

As of now, it is expected to be a free service. There is no confirmed date as to when this will first be available but we should see appear it very soon.
