It's the winter that just won't end! On the final day of April, many parts of the Hudson Valley actually saw snow.

Some are hoping we can call it "Winter's Last Stand," because on April 30 temperatures were about 20 degrees colder than normal with many areas seeing snow.

On Monday around 10:30 a.m., snow fell in Greenwood Lake, northjersey.com confirmed.

"It’s happened before," National Weather Service Meteorologist Carlie Buccola told northjersey.com. "I wouldn’t say it’s normal."

Elsewhere many reported snow on Hudson Valley Weather's Facebook page.
