Everyone wants to work with Jack White. Jack White says he almost teamed up with two of hip-hop's biggest stars.  In a new interview with "Rolling Stone," the singer-guitarist says Kanye West asked him to collaborate on what turned out to be the rapper's 2013 album "Yeezus."  But Kanye never followed up on the request, which disappointed White because he is a fan.  White says that he was blown away by Kanye's "Yeezus" arena tour, calling it possibly the greatest show he's ever seen.  White says he also worked on a number of tracks with Jay Z.  But they were left unfinished, and White says he's not sure Jay liked them.

White touches on a wide variety of topics in his "Rolling Stone" cover story, including a 2012 article in the "Atlantic" that accused him of having a "Women Problem."  White says he's worked with more women in his career than most people, and points out that there is a difference between the narrators in his songs and his own opinions.  The new issue of "Rolling Stone" hits newsstands this Friday, while White's new solo album "Lazaretto is due out June 10th.
