‘Jackass’ Cast Member Arrested After Protest

Known more for his hilarious antics on MTV's 'Jackass', Steve-O got arrested over the weekend for making a social statement.

Steve-O, who's real name is Stephen Glover, was detained and arrested after climbing a large crane in Hollywood in a protest meant to call attention to SeaWorld's treatment of animals.

The whole situation played out via social media in real time. Glover posted video on his Facebook and Snapchat accounts. When he reached the top of the crane, he blew up an inflatable whale with the words 'SeaWorld Sucks' written on the side. Mashable.com reports the crane was at least 100 feet high and resulted in large scale response from authorities. He eventually climbed down and was taken into custody.
