After 11 years of performances ranging from folk, blue grass, country, and more, John Street Jam will hold their final performance on April 11.

According to the Kingston Daily Freeman, after a trip to Nashville and the Bluebird Cafe, Steve and Terri Massardo were inspired to create a venue where performances are presented in a circle, which allows the audience to be really close to the musicians and creates a very cool setting in which to perform. They have been hosting the Jams in the Dutch Arms Chapel at the Reformed Church of Saugerties since 2004, but after numerous challenges, the painful decision has been made to close the doors.

The next Jam will be on February 14, featuring Open Book, Don Sparks, Michelle Pruiett Haden, Dave Kearney, Roses and Rust, Mike Clifford, and Kevin Haden. Admission is only $5, the doors open at 6:45, and the music starts at 7:30. The final 2 jams will be on March 14 and then April 11. Don't miss your chance to have a great evening with some very talented performers. For more information, call  (845) 943-6720.
