K.Flay Performs At WRRV Sessions [Photos]

K.Flay performed a memorable acoustic set at WRRV Sessions Thursday. She's a new artist so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. But the minute she began performing, I was instantly won over.

The first thing you notice about K.Flay is what a unique and powerful voice she has. There aren't a lot of singers on the scene today with her singing chops. But lots of people have great voices, if you don't have the songs to back it up, chances are you're not going to make it very far. But that's not the case with K.Flay. Every song she played could be a huge radio hit somewhere down the line.

K.Flay hails from Chicago and began performing during her time at Stanford University in California. She likes the Bears but is more of a college football fan.
