This is just unreal.

According to the Times Herald Record, a Kingston man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with drunk driving after an Ulster County deputy sheriff saw him pass a school bus that was stopped to let children off on Cornell Street in Kingston.

The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office told the Times Herald Record that the Ulster County Sheriff Deputy observed James Stenson pass the stopped bus at 3:47 p.m. Tuesday. When Stenson’s vehicle was stopped, it was determined he was driving under the influence.

James Stenson was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content greater than .08 percent and passing a stopped school bus.

Stenson was released and issued tickets to appear in Kingston City Court at a later date.
