This is cool: old instructional video footage has been found, so now you can learn the secrets of America's pastime from the greats.

We all know Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, and Walter Johnson are some of the best players in the history of baseball. But we mostly know this from their astronomical numbers and stories that have been passed down from generation to generation.

Like the game of telephone, who knows how much those stories have been exaggerated? Obviously, no one was walking around recording Vine videos of everything that went on in the world in 1920. We're not blessed with terabytes of footage of their day-to-day lives. But now, we get a chance to see a little more inside what those guys were about, with this unearthed instructional video from that era.

Pretty cool!
