The Hudson Valley is reportedly in the lead to be the location for a multimillion dollar Legoland theme park and resort. But is New Jersey now trying to swoop in and take it away?

Mid Hudson News reports that Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus continues to feel confident that the Hudson Valley is still in the best position to land the theme park, but also admits that New Jersey is now in direct competition for the project. In a statement Neuhaus revealed that Orange County is still very much in the running, but that it looks like New Jersey is also being mentioned as a possibility.

It was also revealed that Dutchess County has thrown their hat into the mix, supplying the Legoland executives with possible locations across the river. However, Orange has really stepped up it's efforts, identifying at least eight places where the theme park could be built.

Orange County has even encouraged residents to produce short videos explaining why the Hudson Valley is the best place for the theme park. Videos like the one below were sent to Lego officials in hopes of gaining an edge over competing sites.

As we await to find out where the new Legoland Theme Park will call home, we'd like to hear from you. Where would you prefer the theme park be built?
