Yesterday was pretty hectic for us here in the Hudson Valley. Sure some of us are off enjoying a nice holiday break from work or school, but that didn't stop mother nature from acting up.

We had a bunch of listeners call in an let us know that it was definitely snowing in parts of the Hudson Valley yesterday. Some of us saw a coating while others were hit with 3 or more inches. Okay, so it wasn't the nor'easter we thought we were going to get, but hey I'm not complaining. The one good thing that came out of the wacky weather yesterday, was the incredible sunset.

I wont lie, yesterday was a stay in the house all day kind of day so I didn't experience the sunset full on. However, I did say aloud "Whoa. The sky is pink." What I didn't know was that it was 10 times more intense if I had actually gotten up and went outside. This is a picture my cousin Lee out in Poughquag sent me:

It looks like the sky is on fire. It's mesmerizing. Other Hudson Valley residents caught this beautiful post-snow storm sunset. Take a look at twitter user Hudson Valley WX picture:
