Levar Burton has spent the last 25 years encouraging kids to read. He is passionate about it. So when someone is willing to give him a large donation to "read" a book. What's a few bad words among "friends". Here is a look at the video and how much money was raised.

It all started during an online telethon put on by the video game studio Rooster Teeth, this is where Levar Burton from "Reading Rainbow" fame found himself reading from an adult-themed bedtime book by Adam Mansbach.  Levar jokingly called the uncensored book one of his "favorite children's stories."  The reading was a reward for viewers after the telethon crossed the 75-thousand-dollar mark.  The telethon aired online in conjunction with the gaming charity ExtraLife and earned nearly a half-million-dollars.  All of the money raised will go to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
