LIPTON BRISK “Risk Your Brisk” & WRRV Sweepstakes

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

1.                     HOW TO ENTER/ WINNER SELECTION:   The first caller at 845 451-WRRV (9778) to correctly answer the WRRV “Listener Of The Day” question that will be announced on 92.7 and 96.9 WRRV at approximately 9:20am Monday through Friday from August 2nd 2010 through August 20th 2010 will win a random first, second or third prize.  The winner will also qualify for the Grand Prize.  Listeners who appear at pre-announced WRRV Risk Your Brisk events will also be able to enter their name to be chosen as a Grand Prize qualifier.  One Grand Prize qualifier will be chosen at each event.  There will be approximately six (6) Risk Your Brisk events from August 2nd 2010 through August 20th 2010.

 

2.                     PRIZES:  

GRAND PRIZE:   One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded each consisting of the following:

·        (1) Panasonic Wi-Fi Ready Blu-Ray Home Theater System (valued at $399.99).

·        (1) Panasonic – VIERA 46’’ Plasma HDTV (valued at $597.99). 

 

FIRST PRIZE:  Three (3) First Prize(s) will be awarded each consisting of (1) Nikon Coolpix 12.1 Megapixel Digital Camera (valued at $279.99 each).  

 

SECOND PRIZE:  Six (6) Second Prizes that will be awarded each consisting of (1) $150 “That’s Brisk Baby” Visa Gift Card (valued $150.00 each).  

 

THIRD PRIZES:  Six (6) Third Prizes will be awarded each consisting of a BRISK branded Cooler and Brisk Artist T-Shirt. (valued at $15.00 each).

 

EVENT PRIZES:  Fifty (50) Event Prizes will be awarded each consisting of either a BRISK  (valued at $10.00 each).  OR  a BRISK branded Cooler (valued at $10.00 each)


Limit one first, second or third prize per person throughout the sweepstakes period.  Odds of becoming a Prize winner and being entered into the Grand Prize drawing depend upon the number of call-ins received at each announcement.

 

3.             ELIGIBILITY:   Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the U.S. residing in the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.  Employees of Cumulus Broadcasting, Pepsi Cola of the Hudson Valley, Pepsi-Cola Company, its bottlers, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, distributors, suppliers and advertising, promotional or judging agencies and immediate family members of such employees (parent, child, sibling, spouse) and persons living in the same household of such employees (whether related or not) are not eligible to win. Winners must be over 18 years of age.

 

4.             GENERAL:   No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, except as determined by Cumulus Broadcasting in its sole discretion.  Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.  Prize winner will be solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state and local taxes on prize; if applicable, winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the prize. No groups, clubs or organizations may enter or win prizes.  All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Cumulus Broadcasting] which shall be final and binding. 

 

5.                   WINNER NOTIFICATION:  All potential winner(s) will be notified on air. Major prize winners will be required to sign and return to Cumulus Broadcasting an Affidavit of Eligibility/ Liability Release with (where lawful) a publicity release within 30 days of first attempt at notification.  If any required documents are not returned within the required number of days, or if mail is returned as undeliverable, without a forwarding address, then prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.   Winner must personally pick-up prize at the Cumulus Broadcasting offices on 2 Pendell Rd in Poughkeepsie NY within 30 days and present identification for prize to be released.  All travel and transportation costs, if any, associated with collecting the prize, are winner's responsibility.

 

6.                   RELEASE OF LIABILITY.   All entrants, as a condition of participation, and all winners, by acceptance of a prize, agree to release Cumulus Broadcasting, Pepsi Cola of the Hudson Valley and Pepsi-Cola Company, its bottlers, each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, divisions, distributors and advertising, promotional or judging agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to and from any prize-related activity or any typographical or other error in the printing of these Official Rules or the offering or announcement of any prize.  Neither Cumulus Broadcasting, Pepsi Cola of the Hudson Valley nor Pepsi-Cola Company make any representations nor warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, performance or safety of any prize awarded.  Upon request, winners must consent (and confirm such consent in writing) to the use of their name, voice, picture or other likeness without compensation for promotional purposes as determined by Cumulus Broadcasting and Pepsi Cola of the Hudson Valley, except for residents in TN and where prohibited by law.
