Live Look at Hudson Valley Roads, Schools Close
Tuesday morning has turned into a mess for people hoping to get an early start on the roads.
Sleet and freezing rain last night did not turn into rain as expected for many areas of the Hudson Valley. Most people awoke to the sounds of plows as crews tried to clear the roads, but that was little help for those who have long driveways that became a slippery mess.
Wappingers Central School District announced a two hour delay but soon followed that up with a complete closing just before 6am.
