The Roosevelts are enjoying a renaissance among American history lovers. Credit Ken Burns and his acclaimed PBS documentary "The Roosevelts: An Intimate History" or the country's post-economic crisis nostalgia for an era when President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal put millions of Americans to work, but the Roosevelts seem to be a frequent cultural touchstone these days. (Not that the Hudson Valley has ever lost sight of the Hyde Park-native's legacy.)

In that vein, the Living New Deal Project at UC Berkeley released an interactive data map highlighting every public works project put into motion by Roosevelt's New Deal programs.

According to the map, the projects developed in the Hudson Valley include:
