The Marist College football program had never had a player graduate and move on to the NFL, until Terrence Fede was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 7th round of the 2013 draft. He was born and raised in Nyack and played both basketball and football before focusing on one sport in college. And it has certainly paid off.

Fede made a huge impact yesterday on the outcome of the Dolphins game with the Vikings. With the score tied at 35, and under 1 minute remaining, the Vikings decided to punt from inside the 20 yard line. Fede who lines up at defensive end, made a terrific play and block the punt out of the back of the endzone! As a result, the Dolphins earned 2 points on the safety and won the game.
