Two Kingston teenagers were arrested this week for stealing lawn ornaments. It's unclear what exactly a lawn ornament is--maybe a Gnome?

According to the Daily Freeman, Kingston police have arrested Qumari Hylton-Jackson, 19, and an unidentified 18-year-old male. They have been charged with possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor, and violating the city’s Park Ordinance for being in Hutton Park after hours.

It all started early Monday when, as police told the Daily Freeman, they received a call of lawn ornaments been stolen from a Clifton Avenue residence. The investigation led officers to Hutton Park, where both men were found with numerous ornaments in their possession.

The stolen ornaments have not been claimed and anyone with a lawn ornament that’s missing is asked to contact Kingston police at (845) 331-1671. Callers should be prepared to describe the lawn ornament when they call.
