Local Theater To Offer Free Christmas Movies For Kids

Looking for things to do with your children this holiday season? How about affordable things to do with the kids? That doesn't usually happen, right? Lyceum Cinemas in Red Hook, NY will be showing two Christmas themed movies for free this year for families. The movies that they are showing are, "Polar Express" and "Miracle on 34th Street."

The movies are free, but you will need to get tickets. Tickets can be obtained, at no charge, from local Red Hook businesses.

• D’Amby Project Dance Studio
• Griff’s Southside Deli
• Red Hook T’s
• Ben & Gracie’s Thrift Shop
• Village Pizza III
• The Bagel Shoppe
• Historic Village Diner;
• Charlie O’s Restaurant
• Rhinebeck Bank, only the Red Hook branch

The special performance will take place on Saturday December 16, 2017 at 10:15am. Doors will open at 9am so families can get seated and get their snacks before the show. The sponsors of the event ask that you bring a non-perishable food item to benefit the Dutchess County Community Action Agency.
