The line-up for the 2016 edition of Lollapalooza has been released to the public, and it's impressive. Headliners this year include Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jane's Addiction.

Lollapalooza started as a traveling festival in the early 90's. It began in 1991 as a farewell tour for Jane's Addiction organized by singer Perry Ferrell. The show toured annually until 1997 before they went on hiatus for a few years. In 2003 Ferrell brought it back and they once again toured the country. In 2004, poor ticket sales forced the tour to get cancelled. However, in 2005 they took another shot at it as a stationary festival, and that's the way it's been ever since, having found a home in Grant Park in Chicago.

If you missed last year's fest, you missed one heck of a party.

WRRV has a ton of big contests coming up this spring and summer. Right now we're focused on the Bonnaroo trip we're giving away, then it's onto a big cash blowout, followed by our Lollapalooza contest. Someone is going to win, it may as well be you.
