Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park will be the site of a USO show on Friday, May 23 at 7 pm, you will be transported back to the 40's with comedy sketches, historic film footage, entertainment, and music from the WWII era. On Saturday and Sunday, May 24 & 25, the lawn of the library and museum will resemble a WWII encampment with period vehicles as well as soldiers in battle dress to share their love of history with you.

It's opening weekend for the Story Walk at the Wildlife Education Center at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum in Cornwall-on-Hudson. You can read your way through the trails with the children's story "Lost in the Woods" by Carl R. Sams II & Jean Stoick. You can meet one of the animals from the book, have a guided walk along the Story Walk Trail, plus enjoy crafts and snacks for the kids throughout the afternoon.
