Almost two months into the fall season, the lower counties of the Hudson Valley will finally reach peak foliage this weekend.

For the weekend of Friday, November 9 through Sunday, November 11, the lower Hudson Valley will hit peak foliage, according to I Love NY's weekly foliage report. The lower Hudson Valley includes Orange County, Rockland County, and Westchester County.

Orange County was close to peak foliage last weekend, but this weekend it is finally at peak. I Love NY's foliage report says that some parts of Orange County are already past peak as well, such as Goshen. Expect to see fully changes leaves with colors of bright gold, orange and rust leaves.

In Westchester County, there will be about 80% color change for the foliage this weekend. I Love NY's foliage report says there will be shades of gold-yellow and some red leaves of average brilliance.

The rest of the Hudson Valley is already past peak foliage for this weekend.
