Joey came to Pets Alive last July as a result of an abusive situation. He was starving and lived in a small, weedy area surrounded by chicken wire. He was never socialized and was afraid of his own shadow. But no more. Every day, Joey gains social skills and enjoys being with humans. He also has a pasture to himself where he can graze to his heart's content. He is now three years old and at some point, may be socialized enough to be saddled. He would make a great companion horse for a loving family that would have the patience to keep working with him on coming out of his shell. Come and meet Joey!
