A Massachusetts man taunted law enforcement from a stolen car, authorities say. He had an even bigger problem, though: the vehicle he allegedly took for a joyride was a police cruiser.

Police responding to a domestic disturbance call on Feb. 5 were caught off-guard after 27-year-old Michael Kopeski allegedly hopped into the officer's car and pulled away from the scene, MassLive reports.

Kopeski then spent the next 20 minutes driving the car around Springfield, evading police while ranting over the police radio, according to authorities.

"I'll bring the car right back to the lady, man, you know what I mean?” Kopeski said. "I don't want no problems, you guys maced me and all that stuff."

Kopeski wasn't impressed with his new ride. On audio of his back and forth with the officers, Kopeski complained about his inability to make the police radio play music and his dislike of the police cruiser's seat belts.

MassLive reports Kopeski said, "You guys are boring, I am going to go find crime."

At one point, Kopeski allegedly attempted to call off the patrol cars looking for the vehicles. "Code 903, nothing is wrong," Kopeski said.

Police eventually boxed in the police cruiser but needed to break the car windows to remove Kopeski from the vehicle. Kopeski allegedly tried to fight off officers, who were eventually able to subdue him.

Kopeski's night ended with him back in the police cruiser--this time, in handcuffs.
