A man was hospitalized after jumping from the second floor of a Hudson Valley shopping mall because of a dare.

Police tell PIX 11 News that 21-year-old Nicholas Diblasi of Park Ridge jumped over the 2nd floor railing of the Palisades Mall on Sunday afternoon. Diblasi was found sitting on the floor near Macy’s. Onlookers said he was dazed and seemed to be intoxicated.

Diblasi told police that he jumped down the 20-foot drop because his friend dared him to do it and didn't believe that he would. The Johnny Knoxville wannabe has been charged with reckless endangerment, since his stunt was performed in a crowded pedestrian area.

The daredevil was taken to Nyack Hospital and treated for a minor leg injury. Hopefully this will make him think twice before attempting his next "Jackass" stunt.
