After 36 years of running one of the finest learning institutions in America, Marist College President Dennis Murray has officially retired.

Yesterday, June 30th was the leaders official last day as President but if you ask anyone he will always be a Red Fox in my eyes. That feeling was apparent to many others as well as students, alumni, faculty and more flooded social media yesterday with videos, photos and well wishes.

Murray made the announcement back in February for his plans to retire at the end of the 2016 school year. Murray became President of Marist back in 1979 and since has brought numerous awards, accomplishments and growth to the school and to the Hudson Valley.

As a Red Fox myself I can say President Murray was not only an asset to the students school and to the community but he was also genuinely wonderful and kind person. President Murray thank you for all you did, best of luck and we will miss you!
