Back in March, we learned that Radiohead’s Thom Yorke had contributed vocals to “Beautiful People,” a track from electronic musician Mark Pritchard’s Under the Sun. Now, Pritchard has released the video for the song, where Yorke appears in hologram form.

Consequence of Sound found the clip, which you can see above, noting that it premiered at the Sundance NEXT Fest. In it, Yorke’s disembodied face shows up inside the mask of the video’s lone character, who is spending the day walking slowly across a desolate mountain terrain. At one point, he leans scarily over the edge of a cliff but manages to not fall. Then, a reverse avalanche happens, with rocks falling up the side of a mountain and into the sky. At the end, he’s up against a wall with a mysterious light from above shining in his face.

Under the Sun came out in May and also featured contributions from Linda Perhacs, Bibio and Antipop Consortium’s Beans. Over the years, Pritchard has worked under a number of pseudonyms, including Troubleman, NY Connection and Harmonic 313, but, with the release of 2013’s Ghosts, decided in 2013 to only use his birth name professionally from now on.

“The original instrumental to ‘Beautiful People’ is a personal song about loss, hopelessness and chaos, but ultimately the message is love and hope,” Pritchard said at the time of the song’s release. “Thom’s contribution to this collaboration captured perfectly what the piece is about. I will be forever grateful to have worked with such an immense talent.”
