Masked Man Showed Gun, Demanded Narcotics at Wallkill Shoprite, Police Say
A masked man showed a revolver and demanded narcotics from a pharmacist in Wallkill Saturday afternoon, police said.
The Town of Wallkill Police Department released a surveillance photo Monday and asked for the public's help in information leading to the robber.
Police responded to a report of a robbery at Shoprite at 20 Lloyds Lane shortly after 5PM on Saturday.
The unidentified man donned a black ski mask with a spider web design on it when he approached the pharmacist and asked for drugs. After taking an undisclosed amount of narcotics from the pharmacy, the man fled the store.
The suspect is described as either white or Hispanic and standing 6 feet tall.
The Town of Wallkill Police Department asked anyone with information about the robbery to call detectives at 845-692-6757.
