The sanctity of the "French Fry" has been challenged again! McDonald's Japan will be offering a new french fry option starting January 26. Customers will get the option of drizzling their fry's with either a white chocolate or dark chocolate sauce. This sweet and salty take on the Arches staple will be called the McChoco Potato.

McDonald's of Japan has seen a decline in sales over the last year and a half because of, according to CNN Money, fewer visitors and weaker sales.

No word if the fast food chain will be bringing this item to the US.

  • Canada has the McLobster Sandwich
  • Mexico has the Mexican McMuffin which includes refried beans
  • India, has the McAloo Sandwich, which has a "patty" made from potato and peas instead of beef
  • China, has a Taro filled pie as apposed to our Apple Pie
