McDonald’s Putting Something Different on Fries
The sanctity of the "French Fry" has been challenged again! McDonald's Japan will be offering a new french fry option starting January 26. Customers will get the option of drizzling their fry's with either a white chocolate or dark chocolate sauce. This sweet and salty take on the Arches staple will be called the McChoco Potato.
McDonald's of Japan has seen a decline in sales over the last year and a half because of, according to CNN Money, fewer visitors and weaker sales.
No word if the fast food chain will be bringing this item to the US.
Other items from McDonald's that are only sold in other countries:
- Canada has the McLobster Sandwich
- Mexico has the Mexican McMuffin which includes refried beans
- India, has the McAloo Sandwich, which has a "patty" made from potato and peas instead of beef
- China, has a Taro filled pie as apposed to our Apple Pie
