Melting Pot to Hold ‘Little Chefs’ Event

The Melting Pot Restaurant in Poughkeepsie is holding a Little Chefs class for kids ages 5-12. The event will take place on April 26 & April 28, 2016 at 5PM.

According to their website, each child will receive a Melting Pot apron and chef's hat for them to decorate at the beginning of the class. Then the 'Little Chef's' will be able to prepare a cheese fondue and a chocolate fondue, before another special demonstration which will show each child how to make their own chocolate covered strawberries.

At the end of the event, each child will be presented with a congratulations card and a package of chocolate wafers to take home. Each event will be limited to 15 kids and reservations are required for these special events. The cost to attend and participate is $25 per child and then $8 per adult who would like to sample their Little Chef's creations. Adults are required to stay with their child during instructional portion of the event.
